** Note for bookings during June/July/August. You must have your own 4WD ute or truck to access Shortland Station (SUVs or Subaru-type cars are not adequate). There can be snow on the property and in the region affecting access** Shortlands Station is a high country sheep station at the base of the Kakanui Ranges, in the Danseys Pass corner of the Maniototo. It's less than 2 hours from Dunedin and just under 2 1/2 hours from Queenstown.
