Sanctuary Mountain is the largest mainland fenced project in New Zealand. Surrounded by a 47 kilometre pest-proof fence. The restoration of this conservation project is remarkable and brings with it numerous native to New Zealand species. Set in the heart of the Waikato this is a must-do ecotourism experience.
